I’m a big fan of London Grammar. They’re so beautifully haunting with all the powerful synthy sounds mixed with classical, orchestral instruments – and, of course, Hannah’s incredibly flexible voice. Sometimes it’s all deep and dark, then it spirals up to a shiveringly high octave.
This is one of the reasons why they’re such big news recently. No, they haven’t hit the big UK Number 1, but they’ve got into the charts several times and are constantly played by the likes of BBC Radio 1.
AND, they’ve got an ace new song – with a live performance music video to go with it.
If this doesn’t make you want to go see ’em live, God help you.
I managed to get press passes for their gig in Sheffield recently, check the review HERE.
Their debut album, ‘If You Wait’ is out now.
